The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Mohamed Jameel bin Ahmed Mulla received at his office at the Ministry the day before yesterday the Chairman of the Saudi Telecommunications Society (STS), Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Ruwais and members of the Society. The talk during the meeting focused on the challenges facing the telecommunications and information technology sector in the Kingdom and the ambition of the STS to contribute to the service of this vital economic sector.

The general assembly of the Saudi Telecommunications Society held its first meeting in King Saud University recently for election of the first Board of Directors of the Society. The vote resulted in the election of nine members from the list of candidates. The elected candidates are: Professor Abdul Aziz bin Salem Al Ruwais, the lecturer of Communications Engineering, at the Department of Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering of King Saud University and the Supervisor General of Administrative and Financial Affairs of the University as the Chairman of the Board of Directors...
